These modern kitchens are very nice! Most of the time I prefer the traditional kitchen style. But I’m totally in love with the kitchens on the second and third picture!

It’s a good representation of what can be done in a green kitchen, from FSC-certified cabinets to recycled glass countertops to EcoTimber flooring. The fabulous picture you’ve displayed with this article shows that using green design techniques can result in a lovely kitchen. Many would agree that recycled glass countertops can be quite stunning. Now, of course, when talking about “green” kitchens, we also can’t forget that energy-efficient appliances (like me!) are a perfect fit for an earth-conscious home.

As another green alternative to natural stone, there are also quartz countertop options that contain recycled content, including some colors of Caesarstone and Zodiaq. Despite the availability of more sustainable options, it’s true that granite is still the most popular kitchen countertop material!

I agree that pendant lighting can be a focal point of an interior design, especially with all of the unique styles and decorative shades available nowaways. A row of small glass pendants is really popular in kitchen design.

Pendant lights are a perfect addition to any kitchen, especially when you don’t have any pots or pans hanging from the ceiling so that the light shades can be the focal point of lighting in the room.

I hope that recycled kitchen products become more and more popular amongst customers, especially the recycled glass countertops. They may, however, struggle when competing against the notoriously popular granite worktop, but here’s to hoping!
